So I know I'm getting Black Ameracuana eggs (from dak, they're gorgeous), BBS English Orpington, my own Lav AMs,FBCM, and silkies. I'm also ordering Silkie eggs from bargain. Dear Lord. My husband may murder me......

Even if your husband murders you, it will still be worth it.

When my DH has a fit, I just remind him that getting chickens was his idea.

This will be my first hatch! I am in!

Pekin Ducks, and if I'm really lucky, my Call duck will start laying by then. One can only hope! First time hatching ducks!

Endurance hatchers get ready! Tomorrow (at noon your time) is set day for emu eggs!

My ducks are the first one in the pen at night. As soon as it gets dark they head in, followed by my chickens, then finally the turkeys. Atleast the ones that didnt decide to roosting on my house. Lol

I have silver appleyards. All my ducks, chickens, and turkeys all share a coop and pen. But I will be making a new pen for my turkeys now that they are mating with my chickens. And really tearing them up. I used a dinner bell and treats every night when the sun started setting and taught the birds to come into the coop. Now at dusk I go out and all my birds are already in the coop.
