Just got a PM that my Cotton Patch goose eggs will ship tomorrow instead of Wednesday! SQUEEEEE! (Be thankful none of you live near me, I'm pretty sure they heard me in the next county.) Is it weird that I am this excited over hatching eggs that will turn into loud obnoxious eating machines?
Wait. Why would I ask the enablers and addicts that. Of course it's normal. Here anywaw. :D

Oh and my 3rd incubator should be here Tuesday. Yaaaay!
That is all very exciting!

Do you have enough Pens and Brooders?

I would mix some in a bowl the night before and then feed it to them. I would mix some for them that morning.

It takes a while for milk to spoil. It does not take that much milk. There were only two cockerels so the bowls were not too big.

Ah, OK that makes sense now. Lol

Ummmm.....sort of? Lol. Yeah, I just went and bought totes today. Cayuga ducklings should (better) be here tomorrow morning. By the time the turkeys hatch (set today) the duckies should be out. My outdoor chick brooder is full bit by the time this hatch finishes my new grow out pens will be ready for the ones in the brooder. I just realized that for the next 2 months I'm going to be moving chicks, chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese about every 2 weeks. What have I done?!?

Lol! I love it!

Question. I just ordered some more eggs ( I REALLY need to stop buying eggs

) Anywho I just ordered them and they'll ship out Monday. Now my question is should I have a heat pack added? I mean it's supposed to get down to -7 here tomorrow night but I doubt they'll reach this state until Tuesday earliest where it'll be 40's day and 20's night. I have never shipped eggs in the cold so I'm not sure what they can take...

If heat pack is available then definitely take it. Frozen eggs won't hatch.

Well I am planning on setting some eggs under one of my silkies/bantams if there broody around that time if this even counts
