I use unactivated oxine in the water in my incubators. It has worked really well so far!

I don't put water in the wells during lock down. I use sponges and, or, brand new wash cloths. Dollar store.

Saves on the bator big time.

Well, apparently I'm not normal.

Just had a discussion with my  mom regarding my chickens. My son's cat went after one of my hen's today...Mama caught her in the act. I asked her if the hen was ok, she said yes...the cat didn't get any claws in her and made enough racket to spook kitty away. I made a comment about the cat (named Cinnamon) going on a little trip if she hurts one of my chickens. I love my chickens, even more so than my doelings (two Boer cross goats 9 months old). I don't know why, I just do. 

She looked at me like I was nuts.

This is one of the many reasons why I love you guys here on this forum so much. Because we are all residents of the same nut house full of chicken lovers!!!

My daughter is threatening an intervention!! Lol. I love it up here! Folks that understand me.

Yes, where do you get the color charts from? I would like to get one as well.

Im not sure which chart you are referring to, but I posted a pic with my eggs that had the chart in the background. It is the online auction color chart (OAC).

I have to show Harmony all the frizzle pictures in the morning! I will have to keep the son away though as he really wants a necked neck of some sort. I said he can have ONE, but to find ONE Npip I dont see it happening soon HA HA HA
