Happy Sunday all!!!! Have a great day!!
Happy Sunday!!! I'm off to church & a women's luncheon shortly. Making Strawberry Angelfood Cake Trifle....Good Day Ahead!

I have a question for anyone that may know, but keep in mind I won't be back on till this evening, so if I don't reply right away I'm not ignoring help, lol! I've been hoping my Call Duck would lay for this hatch-a-long. For the past 2 days she's gearing up to lay...I can tell. She'll go sit in the hut for small periods of time, whereas she normally doesn't set foot in the hut till bedtime. So, an egg is imminent. A.) Should I collect the egg, or let her lay them all and then collect? B.) If I collect, do you store them the same as chicken eggs? C.) If I have to set her eggs a few days ahead of schedule will I have bad problems if I try to set my friends Pekins on the set date?

Hello everyone, I'm new here but am *IN* on the Hatch-a-long... Sounds like the most fun and my incubators are due to hatch next week so will be right on time for the set date..

I would collect as soon as possible- don't let sit! yes, I store them like chicken eggs. In the incubator though, I set on side not up and down. You should be alright with a staggered hatch. I don't hatch calls but don't they have different lengths for incubation?
