You guys are still up right? No one has said Good Night yet so I am still here!

I am keeping two of the chicks I hatched to keep a Cross beaked Delaware company. They are getting along very well. The Del is a weak older than the other two:

I kept one of the Splash UofA blues. This one is quite Spunky:

I have one of the UofA Blues X Crele Penedesencas too. The chicks has a white spot on it's head:

It is quite a poser too:

A nice either dark blue or black OE. Have to wait for it to fluff some more. :)

I'll go ahead and say goodnight. I may or may not be on here again..but, if it I...wait..I hear crying..screaming..going to check.
A NN, with a NN! Ha..yaay.

I'll probably come back on when I get more. They are going to town in there. My DH will be asleep. I will come on and talk to myself on here and keep myself updated.

I was getting ready to set more eggs tonight and found some pipping early! I am quickly getting the hatcher set up for some Dels and SG Dorkings!

early pipping..always fun..that's what mine are doing..due tomorrow, most are going to make it by morning. I have a white NN .. wanted one of those, but I do see a bit of black on the cap/head feathers. I've heard that most black and white chicks are boys. :/ Although, I did have one last year that I kept just in case, it was such a cute little EE. It's a girl. Laid pretty mint green eggs, and has turned into an OE..a real pretty olive color. What? lol..

Dels..Delaware? SG Dorkings. Looking them up. :)

Ok, saw the reds, whites, darks, and something else..too tired to remember the color, what is SG? Love the patterns on their backs. Again, there are those big combs/floppy. You can have a lot of those there. I have the leghorns, and they actually do pretty good. I do use a heat lamp when the temps drop in the single digits and below. The all like to roost outside until it gets that cold..then they head for the inside of the coop.

Awwww! I like the 'leg' picture too!! :love We lock down today, my first fertile Partridge Orpington eggs! Unfortunately I've had 2 temp spikes of 104... Fingers are crossed for some fuzzy busts this weekend!

Good morning..it's only 4 in the morning here. Laid down for a bit, woke up to a lot of sound. Two more NN's and two more Ameraucana mix.

I think I'm going to have a tired day. Or Sleepy day. Or Drowsy day. Or all of the above. Glad nothing pressing for the day other than getting these chicks settled in. A few more to go.
