Wouldn't you like to get all maternal in a spot like this?? lets see how it goes!

Heck YES! Great job. You add a Silkie to that mix and you're golden.
Quote: Actually, this makes me feel all maternal too! NOTHING like a broody Momma and her chicks. Nothing.

Setting some silkie eggs tonight. I want that nice white, I want that nice blue splash. I had a nice white and blue splash once upon a time. Have been trying to get one as nice since.
Wow! Pretty Silkies!

Correction: It is chocolate!!! Apparently my birds are split to chocolste width: 200px; height: 150px">

Silkie - If it is from mine they are split to chocolate and tri color - it could be either.  You will have to wait until they feather out.

Yep, these are yours. I hatched all blue & black from both batches of eggs last year. I kept a trio of blue & a quad of black. This was their first baby!

Good morning everyone!
I agree, the weather this winter has lagged on. Hatching eggs is such a mood enhancer. It's got to warm up sometime ;)

I just candled the eggs in my bator.... still have 25 chicken and 4 duck eggs developing. :weee I am so happy, this incubation has been my best ever so far! :jumpy

Morning! I agree, the weather has not been fun at all. However it has helped to have eggs in my bator.
