Yours is the first purchased incubator that has been posted in a picture in quite a while on here. I was starting to feel like an odd Duck(By the way, have you seen the cute Ducks over on the baby pictures contest thread?)
Contest #14 just made e drool.,. Literally. I don't think I have EVER drooled before when considering chicken breeds! I've had my teeth hurt in envy, coveting other breeds' pictures, but not drooling. And I don't eat my chickens!
The egg box is super nifty, too; I wish I had especially colorful eggs but my girls just lay light green, a couple pale blue, two white egg layers, and various shades of brown or pinkish tan. Nothing really amazing.
However, I JUST sold three dozen eggs to tourists at my favorite "watering hole!" Some of them had never seen (naturally) green eggs.

haha ok ya it seems i got spoiled by the brinseas and now I am getting even more spoiled by the Rcoms- just bough a second one- hope my husband doesn't notice
haha
I can't trust the home made ones. I know some probably work better than the purchased ones- i just can't do it lol.
anyways I feel much better now that I understand what you were saying- this is me 90% of the time :

Update on my hatch and BTW I didn't even realize today was the first day of Spring until this morning. Didn't set the hatch that way, but I had to help my little almost tossed out egg, chicky. He was stuck and still just laying there, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Another pipped, zipped and hatched in less than an hour. He's running around making all kinds of noise. Sure hope more hatch so I don't have to deal with him yapping if the other doesn't make it.
I have to brag..................I had posted about my hatch on FB and my cousin was joking about me sending him some layers from California to Oklahoma. I told him I'd send him hatching eggs. He said he had no way to hatch them, so another cousin told him to sit on them. LOL By the time I finished he is now on BYC learning how to build a bator!!!! GOT EM!!!!!!!!!!!! muaaaaaaaaaa
went to check on the humidity and temperature (and take a photo so I could actually count how many there are) and it turns out they are hatching a day early! closed it up quick! hopefully the humidity gets up quickly again.
Ha, had to share a couple of photos. I took my camera out today as I've been out quite a bit, and when I know I'm going to be out there, I never know what I will see. I had just hosed our Missy down..the dog. She was dusty. Didn't give her a full bath, just a hose down. Then, here comes a sex link. This girl isn't afraid of nothing. I gave Missy an apple treat for going through the hose down, the chickens love apples too..and this girl wants some!
Here she comes..Missy is watching..
If you look close, click on it.. that chicken mouth is open, and she isn't talking! LOL..I missed
the shot where she actually got a bite of apple. Missy just lifted her head and looked at
her. Good dog.
I know right? I saw that look in her eye and thought, best watch how this plays out..but, she was a good dog. Not sure she would have gone for it twice though. lol..
