Aw. It was just a joke... I have a small river running through my back yard. I think most of us in the NE have something today... Quite a storm.. :)

I wasn't yelling at you...I was agreeing that it was not funny.   LOL  I am so disgusted with the weather this winter and now early spring I want to pack up a move.:lau

Ok, I am disgusted with the weather too. This has not been a fun winter at all. On top of snow, ice, cold, and the rain, ppl are having to deal with gas prices through the roof, electric bills that are outrageous, and some are finding out that the wood they had stacked up for the winter wasn't enough (that was us). And now it just seems to be dragging on and on and on.... :(

We are absolutely brand new to all of this! We just "set" 22 eggs yesterday from a variety of chickens. My friend is trying to help us get started, and we would love to join in! Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated :)
Welcome! If you look at post 6520, there is a link to Hatching 101, you may want to take a look at that.

Just went to my car and apparently is has sprung a leek and is seeping into my passenger side roof. This happened once before because of excessive rain.

Oh no.

Well, life got really crazy, and I forgot to find eggs, and then I forgot to set eggs yesterday. So as of right now I have no eggs dues to hatch for Easter. I am going to scramble and try to get some to put in today.

Oh no!

That stinks. I just looked out my window and saw a fox running into the woods. No birds in his mouth though.
Well, that's a plus that his mouth was empty.

I set 23 blue and black copper maran eggs and 3 olive eggers at 8:30 mtn standard time this morning
Beautiful eggs!
