Ok, sorry, but that is an uuugly egg. Is it soft? I would assume that it is a very soft shell. I've had some similar, but not with blueberry speckles around it.

:'( my dog killed all the chicks and the older duck.... :'( I'm so sad right now and my dh is really upset since u left in charge. The only survivor is the baby that just hatched.

No it is rock hard. Going to crack it later when I get back home. Will post pictures. Poor girl, you know that had to hurt !

Check out this funky egg I got today!!

Bruce H., someone on here I just love, told me that was a cooked egg, lol! I had one once. He said it forms, they don't lay it for whatever reason, it just sits in them cooking away. Really gross

DH bday today, Good old school AppleCake in the oven! How many of your recipes are in terrible shape? I have about 10 that are so discussting! Its one of those things you never take time to rewrite them, now my grandmothers are a different story, I NEVER will replace them, I can feel her and smell the kitchen just look at her writing

Howdy doody! So I candled the eggs in my incubator and it doesn't look like a single one is developing anything, it being nearly a week ya think something would've veined by now if it was gonna eh? So does this mean I'm out of the hatch if I don't have any viable/developing chicks? *sighs* Hope ya'll have had a great week!

Thought this was interesting,,, 3 days ago the veins in this call duck egg disintegrated into a cloudy mess. Embryo was still alive. Checked yesterday..embryo still alive. Today embryo still alive. WTHeck is keeping it alive? I know it will eventually succumb but this is strange.
