I set my eggs back in March and only just learned about this thread. I don't know for sure when my eggs will hatch but I'm expecting them in the next few days. Is there any way I can join in on the fun?

I was worried that it was too new to stay in the mass of fluffy chicks and it was soaking wet (I had washed it because it was sticky.) I slept in the recliner so I wouldn't roll over on it and we both slept well all night. I was walking around and two of my boys did nearly the exact same thing. One was talking to me in the kitchen and stopped mid sentence when he heard the soft peeping. "Mom, where's that chicken?" I pulled out my top button and looked at it. "Down there," I said. "Mom, you're so weird." as he walked away, with me laughing!

625 posts behind...so glad Ron does the digests...LOL

Candled the other night & pulled 2 chicken. Had already pulled all but 1 call, 2 turkey & 5 anconas. Still have over 100 eggs due between 4/17-4/21. Plus I stuffed more in for Cinco de Mayo.

And I forget how many are due in between. Oh, and I have a bunch hatching this weekend too.

Day 14!! Candled and pulled 2 more. Now I'm down to 9.

But the cool thing was how well I could see the chicks inside my blue polish eggs! I could even see their tiny feet :D
I'll try to grab a picture after dark.

All the cute chick pictures are just driving me crazy waiting for hatch day. I just want to see some fluff balls running around!

18th ? My hatch day isn't until the 19th even!
Well, I might be in the same boat as you for the 19th depending on how things go. I set my 6 of my duck eggs on late in the day on March 22 and one bonus egg on the 23th. So technically.....they could hatch anytime from the 18th to the 20th! Good thing it's a weekend and I can be there for the whole show.
