Oh my goodness, after all of these years of hatching, and I never thought of that?   Hello!   lol...that is such a great idea!   In the summer here, it gets pretty dry.  We aren't too dry yet, so good for now, but I am so going to put one in there IF I am hatching then.  Ha...I said if...

You guys need a humidifier while I suck water out of the air with a DEHUMIDIFIER.

I guess it would be boring of it was easy

Yes I saw it. I think some of my problem could be that it got so cold here last night that we lit our wood stove! Wood stove lit =low to no humidity in the air! So I guess I will be firing up the humidifier!

What a lovely good morning pic, Cynthia. The temps here have finally risen to about 50 and I was happy to go out and find that my apple trees are still doing okay...and still blooming.



The girls are all either basking, bathing or photo-bombing.

I also noticed that I seem to have to 'lorpy boys in the grow-out pen.



The big one I call Goliath.

No pips yet from the incubator and staring at them doesn't seem to help.

ya it went from nothing to BAM huge pip! haha. as I was taking photos i realized several of my other eggs are pipping as well, ameraucanas and sizzles i believe. its going to be an exciting day

We also have the wood stove going, but I keep a big pot of water on top of it...and an elderly Great Dane stretched out in front of it.
