Oh yea. My moms would battle it out most days in the shade between the trees they roosted in. Our alpha male equivs would be quite a specticle, full grown plummage, feathers flying, birds squawking and honking and stuff. It was terrable and beautiful. But, they fill about the same niche in nature, and compete with one another. Ours hated each other, and fought often - deaths happened now and then. Mom had a large flock of wild/bronzes and peacocks. They all looked like soldiers home from the civil war. Mom finally got rid of the turkeys.
