Thanks Cynthia!

I have been working on getting eggs like that for a while not.

Check these out:

The egg on the right is an OE bred back to a parent. They are cream legbar x Crele penedesenca. The egg on the left is a Partridge Penedesenca egg.
Just beautiful! I am hoping that I will be getting a pretty Olive color this summer..have two that came from olive colors, not as pretty as your green here. Are you wanting to keep them this color, or are you still working on the color one way or the other..darker/lighter?

so eggcited for the hatch along...Ill be setting 2 incubators,Ill be pulling eggs out of my breeding pens, one with Bantam breeds, Silkies Frizzles sizzles, Red lace blue Bantams and Polish.and bantam Americaunnas. the second will be large fowl,Wellsummers, Speckeled sussex, California whites, red blue lace, golden lace and silver lace wyandottes, and Houdans...and I might order a breed I dont have just for the hatch along!

I hope you get some nice Olive colors!

I like the color of the egg very much. This year I am going to cross Arkansas blues x Partridge Penedesencas to see what I get.
