im filling all egg holes of my bator BUT 9!!! OMG THIS IS SO TEMPTING

I JUST CANT DO IT THOUGH

So... is there anyway I can stack extra eggs on top of the other ones in the egg turner to put more in?  Will they be moved with the other eggs when the turner rotates?  Or do I just need to toughen up and only choose what will fit in the egg turner?  I'm having the same "problem" as LeviS.  All of a sudden I'm getting 18 eggs a day and I can't choose!!!!!  I've been keeping the best looking ones since last monday, and I can only fit 42 in my turner, but I've got at least 60 that I would like to hatch.

I know I shouldn't go with really bullet or round shaped ones, but most of them are perfect!!!!!  I need to candle them to check for good air sacks, right?  Is there anything else I should be doing/looking for in good eggs?

Take your turner out and turn by hand. You can fit more that way. :)

I have the farmers innovator from TSC it that's what your calling the cheapie, I think its a great bator for hatching! I love the cheapness...LOL

mine has had 100% success with hatches, if you forget about all the unfertiles I tried setting...haha lets see how it does this time with shipped eggs!
ANYWAY I would go with the TSC bator.
I was wondering what people thought about the farm innovators. They LOOK comparative to the older (and apparently better) LGs.

I LOVE MINE! its amazing. my first hatch I hatched 12 in. (set like, 28, but some were in the fridge for 2 WHOLE WEEKS) then I set 3 for December, and 2 hatched, one was in the fridge for too long.

I told myself for this hatch I wasn't going to set fridge eggs because that's what always messes up my hatch rates. no fridge egg has ever hatched for me.
I wasn't going to set shipped, or fridge egg for this HAL but woop dee doo, one fridge egg and 12 shipped eggs somehow ended up in the egg pile....LOL so I guess my hatch rate will be thrown off once again.

Dilemma....I was planning this time on using just my 42 egg cheapie TSC model, but maybe I will also set up my Brinsea to test the hatch rates of each. Last time, the cheapie won, with about an 80% rate! and the Brinsea got about 50%, but I feel I ought to give my Brinsea another chance. Everyone says it's the better incubator.
I don't want to have an unfair bias without multiple tests.

My family got me a Brinsea in the hopes that I would abandon my coolerbator. Instead I upgraded it and after the set date, will have both filled to capacity (well, the coolerbator will have a few extras double stacked...)

Yes It was on sale with turner for 39$ last year, but it's incredible! It turns so gently and holds perfect temperature. I am pleased, but surprised by the comparison of the two.
The Brinsea just didn't hatch very well. It seemed to not give enough air ventilation.
I was thinking of just selling the Brinsea.
I'll be trying shipped eggs this time too. Good luck to us!

makes me want to get another....but then that would mean more chicks....more roos....OMG HAHAH
THE BOYS ARE HOLDING ME BACK

good thing with all my personal eggs though, I can pretty much autosex them based on the shape of their comb the minute they hatch!

I too have the Farm Innovators! I've hatched nothing but shipped eggs in it and get about 60% hatch rate. Not bad considering how damaged some of the eggs have been. I even hatched a cracked silkie egg in it last year. :) can't wait to see how well it does with non shipped eggs.
