I'll have to go searching for my wet broody picture from last year. She insisted on nesting out in the uncovered run.

just fired up my bator. ill post final egg count tomorrow...or the next day depending if i throw another in. i didn't wash my bator (only with dish soap the last time i used it) or the egg turner....do any of you wash yalls turners?

@PaisyQ
i have the farmers innovator 4200, and actually just fired it up! i love it! if you have any questions, feel free to ask about it! :)

@Happy Chooks will there be the decorated egg contest this year??

Thanks @bantambury

Right now I'm panicking over temperature. What do you use? The built in thermometer says about 98, the probe thermometer that came with it is reading about 101 (and I think that one is reading 1.5 degrees too high). And I threw my candy thermometer in there, as it is the only other thermometer I have. Small lines on that one; it's reading just below 100. I don't know if I should trust any of them. :p

I just set 80 eggs, they range anywhere from leghorn mixes to purebred Polish and Orphingtons with some Seremas and Silky eggs in the second incubator. I'm ready! Had to set them today as I'll be out off town tomorrow. This is my first time with so many eggs.

W. O. W. I don't believe my eyes! Eggs upon eggs upon eggs! LOVE IT!

Hi guys! I Have a quick question... I had more eggs than would fit in my bitty bator, but I also have a broody so I set a couple under her. When I spill the beans about numbers should I count just what's in my Brinsea or should I count all of them?

Count all the eggs!!! :) :)

ron, soo pretty, and I spy two very pretty eggs on the ground.  I want that green colored one.  :drool

Wow! Good eyes, Cynthia!
