Is the turner similar to the little giant turner?

If so there is a screw or two near the motor that needs to be take out.  Then the skinny yellow bars slide a bit and one removes the tiny metal pins and the egg rack row falls out.  Then the screw need to go back.  Also the one place next to the motor can get hot so in a still air you might consider not using that spot.

It has been over a year since I had one of those turners so I could be out of date on how to take out the racks.

That's very helpful! Thanks!

Pm beer can or Alaskan. There is a hatching app

There is an app called "Hatchabatch", but it counts set day as day 1, so all alerts will be a day early... easy fix is to program your set day the next day and it works great...

Thanks you two.

And thanks to everyone else who responded :)

So...what do you mean work hard with them?

So far ive left the eggs be for 2 days. I set the 16th, so i may start rotating the eggs after tomorrow...first three days of incubation i plan on not rotating them...is this smart, or what would you do?

You have to make sure they pip into the air cell--they may not position correctly and you will likely have to assist them to hatch.

Some of them may not have a lot of vigor either so more work after they hatch. It is still worth it though--as both getting chicks and a learning experience.

If you set before noon, the set day is day 1.
