@vandamma72 I had a temp spike of 102 last night, but I've got my fingers crossed that everything will be ok. They've look great so far and they're still kicking along today.

It's all messed up. We apparently (meaning me) skipped 13. We had a contest lined up and had to hold it for a sponsor that possibly wanted it.Just so you know the actual thread lists it as contest #14 instead of 15. (I know it's 15, but I figure it may cause confusion at some point.)

You can go and purchase it in the store and in the comment section, say it is a gift for ____. Then the GFM will be applied to their account and not yours.
I'm going to hatch my shipped eggs in cartons as has been recommend by many. Which kind of cartons should be used? Paper, styrofoam, plastic?
Congratulations! Pictures please!!My test batch is hatching!!!!!!!!! This is so exciting! I started this set before the HAL just to get the feel for it since I am a newbie to this. Oh my goodness what a feeling when you notice the first pip and then when the shell breaks all the way and they tumble out!!!!! WOW!!!!
Use what you have--foam will not absorb moisture though.
Thanks for responding! Does that make foam better? I have all three kinds of cartons and I just want to make sure I'm using whichever is best...
Yes, foam or plastic trays work best. paper is fine but you have to make sure it does not wick up the water from the bottom of the incubator.
