i have no pips....im getting anxious...i havent locked down and wont until 8 tonight....

Don't worry, I'm not locking down till 6 pm, I hear nothing, see nothing, know nothing. I refuse to worry before tomorrow night or even Friday! After all it's supposed to be 21 days, not 18 or 19!

I'm jealous of y'all.
I was sick the week before setting day and couldn't finish rebuilding my incubator.
I now have 75 eggs in there due in 14 days, 21 hours.
I think I'm adding another 10 today though I have about 50 more that should go in.

7 banty eggs on lock down! Found a basket that takes up exactly half of the brooder box so blue frizzle eggs on one side, calico eggs in the basket... Now the waiting....oh...the waiting!!

I'm not! I don't think. I've had way better hatches locking down a day late, not sure why.

LOL Me too. I look at my eggs, I stare for a while, I see something, wait a minute, what is it? Maybe I can squint a little to see better...

and Yup you guessed it, they are sitting there looking like a bunch of EGGS...

It was a bad flu season.

Curse of the brighter flashlight. I see more stuff. What's up with this? 18 days today. The other half of the egg is dark. I have a few of these. 2 had movement and I put them in the hatcher with ? on them. This one and another, that isn't quite this bad, I left in the incubator with 3 eggs that aren't ready to be moved yet (turner still on). One of those 3 is almost totally dark. I finally found a light spot, but it's not where the air cell should be. This is a friend's egg, some are mine. None are related or eat the same feed. Should I wait on these, toss them, put them in the hatcher? BTW, all have normal air cells, except the dark egg.

2 hatched out this morning on eggs that don't count for the Hatch Along. Another has pipped. One is silent. I am looking at the ones I set on the 12th an am getting anxious. I am having a much better hatch already by moving the bator to a different room and chucked the thermometer it came with. It is nice hearing baby peeps. Not me. I set on the last day, Monday. So I have to wait too.

I have button quail and cot quail zipping like popcorn in there!!! Wow! They really go once they get started.

I have heard that about quail.

I can now say I have 9 healthy babies! Yay!
Five out of the seven in the incubator, and Goldie-momma hatched four of her six.

They are all with Goldie-momma now and doing great. She is an amazing momma!
The only problem now, is that I can't get a single thing done because I'm too busy watching Momma and Babies!
That, and now I need more eggs!
Why didn't anyone tell me how addicting this is?!

Awwww, congrats! Is that all of your eggs hatching for this hatchalong?

I swear, last bee picture for a while. My orange tree is in bloom and the bees are loving it.
