My Day 18 (19th day) starts in a few hours so I have stopped the turners and will be locking down after candling around midnight. Could not sleep last night and had dreams about some weird chicks. They popped out of a hole in the ground and kept coming until I had to block the hole. Turns out they were not chicken chicks and were some sort of dino-monster chicks disguised as chicken chicks. Thats when my wife woke me up.

so day 18 is today for the eggs i set the 14th...does this mean seramas go on lockdown too if they were set the 16th?

and i set another egg the 15th, so it on day 17 now...would it be ok just to move it to lockdown too?

me... I feel the same way. 

I lockdown early all the time! If you really want to go for it!! It's all a preference thing really and if shipped eggs I stop turning on day 16 and up humidity when they start rocking and rolling!

Hey, saw your photo of the bee. Beautiful. I was just thinking today, I should go out and check if there are any bees on that cherry tree. It is cooling down again, but will still reach the 50's in the day. They should still want to be busy. I will have to go see!

Mine fly if it's over 40*.

@Happy Chooks bees interest me so much. id love to get a hive someday! a friend of mine just got his first two hives and they are wonderfully busy! so much to learn about them too!

I can now say I have 9 healthy babies! Yay! Five out of the seven in the incubator, and Goldie-momma hatched four of her six. They are all with Goldie-momma now and doing great. She is an amazing momma! The only problem now, is that I can't get a single thing done because I'm too busy watching Momma and Babies! That, and now I need more eggs! Why didn't anyone tell me how addicting this is?!

I swear, last bee picture for a while. My orange tree is in bloom and the bees are loving it.

Beautiful! I will bet that tree smells lovely, too.

I did a final candle and turfed out another 10 quitters. 2 were 'bubbling'. I wondered what the smell was in my kitchen....!

Awww congratulations! I love the EE's! They are so cute I ordered 8 and waited a month for them to hatch and wanted them to be tudors for my turkey poults till they are old enough to start laying. Well someone on a fb page saw my posting for poults for sale and wants my ee's!

He's a kid and can't find em anywhere. lol

I can never get them to hatch and now that my luck seems to be better dad wants me to sell them.

I am keeping them if I can help it.
