12 left out of my EHA. 7 roosters and 5 pullets. Growing like wildfire and littke roosters tryi g to crow already.

Do these hatchalongs last forever?

Yes, especially if you keep poking them in the incubator.

Mine is off until late this next month ( August) for a Seotember hatch. This will be my annual birthday hatch. It will be a littke after my actual birthday though. I'm timing it so I can take part if them to the auction barn.

wait, lemme clarify! I'm not getting pullet eggs from this hatch. Just from chicks I got this January. This hatch ones are pretty small still.

These eggs are from some of my Easter chicks

I guess they are early layers.

I guess that I read the thread name wrong. Thought it said New Years Hatch.

No my Easter hatch hasn't started laying yet. They are just now will be 20 weeks old on Thursday. My stock usually don't start laying until around 24 to 26 weeks. I have a few that didn't start until around 30 to 32 weeks.

I didn't keep any of the Easter Hatch...I have 5 left from a hatch 4 weeks later and 5 little ones from my hen Honey's hatch ...they'll be 2 weeks old tomorrow. The pic is from last week. I just sold 7 cockerels...there were more than that but most people took one with their pullets. My second hatch was 12 from one rooster and 12 from the other. I thought that was funny as they're all in together.
