Hey, thinking this would be a great thing to try for the fodder! And of course, for all that they are showing. Pretty neat. Did I just say neat...instead of cool...oh, just showing my age. :p

Hi all!! Ya can count me in. I had a blast last year. I had a really bad hatch rate for the NYD HAL. After my eggtopsy I'd say low average temps& non fertiles. Not sure yet what type of chicken eggs I'm gonna set. I'll see what I can get my hands on. I'd like to add some color variation to my egg basket.

Hey, welcome hockey, this is a fun one..hope you do better this time. My guess..if I remember from the last HAL..your problem probably was non fertile eggs..find some fertile ones!

That's the plan!!! I'm thinking some olive eggers or copper mariens(not sure on the spelling) just gotta find someone selling them.

Yay. I am in. I have managed to sell most of what I hatched this month (50 hatched, 33 sold as of tomorrow) and it only gets better a spring arrives for real. Think I will be mostly done with d'Uccles by this HAL, but I might hatch EEs for fun.
