I mentioned it, got that funny face many yrs. ago, found a real good out of the place from him, and went for it.  He has since then, come a long way to say the least.  He now knows when to ask, isn't it about time for your eggs to hatch..any pips yet?   When they do start pipping..any zipping yet?  When they do hatch, how are they doing..get a good hatch this time?
And when it comes to me deciding on which hen to sell, he sometimes asks, you are selling Reba?!   She's one of the sweetest ones out there.

My husband has came a long way. My first set of girls was game hen they was given to from a lady who didn't have time to care for them but anyways I would and still do talk about them constently talk about them and he would be like really y o ur talking about the birds again and now he is have you done any research on how to to fix that and if I say no he is doing it for me.it's the cutest thing ever lol. He also ask about the ones he knows are favorites. He even defends my girls whensomeone will say chickens are stinky or gross. He's just not ready for them in the house :( I am hoping some day though

Glad we brought you out of hiding. :yesss:

Hehe I usually just snoop also but with spring right around the corner and already planning to hatch several hatches this year I couldnt help but throw my cards in just in case I had a broody in time.even if I don't it's all very exciting hearing about everyone else plans and there's always lots to learn

Get you some ceramic eggs and put them in a nest. About 10 of them! :) See who decides to set on them first? That seemed to always work at my house!
I was thinking about doing that and when I seen your comment I thought yes it might just work lol. I am starting to feel desperate lol

Getting some new breeds for this hatch-a-long! Getting the eggs lined up.
Time for a test run. Dropped 25 eggs from a neighbor in the incubator tonight! Figure these have time to hatch, gives me a week to get everything settled, and then the HAL begins!

Ditto!  May you have an easy lockdown.

My sister is also due early April but he is already getting ready for the big day so the Dr said to be expecting a early arrival. This spring is going to be sooooo exciting between the baby chicks and the new nephew I can barely containe the excitement :)
