So it has been a few days since I have been on but omg all the new baby's. They are all the cutest. we don't have any broodys as of yet but we do have a calf hopefully twins(Stella is huge compared to last yr) due around March 26th can't not wait. She is the beginning of our herd

Hi back keep reading - its quite an adventure Omg the cutest I wish we had more land for a bigger farm. I want goats soooo bad. I had a goat when I was younger. My mom said she was a nannie goat. Not sure what that means but she was much larger than yours and had horns. Her name was nannie lol I was real creative back then. I loved her sooo much. But yours are the cutest i just had 9 straight doelings born

So hubby and I was looking at getting a new vehicle today and almost got it but now i am thinking more land might be better. I could have a larger flock and a mix of more animals

Jersey's are the ones with the big beautiful eyelashes.  And yes, they are milking cows.  I hear the bulls are tricky to work with though.

My fil has a Jersey and her name is Jersey lol but she is the most beautiful cow he has and he/we have a veraity of breeds most mixed though.

I have emu eggs if anyone wants to try to hatch them. I have two mated pairs of emus but I haven't actually witnessed any mating. Just pay shipping.

I use to think I wouldn't be able to eat something I raised but it is easier than most ppl think. You know where the beef comes from and what they are fed and you don't have to worry about what meds they are given. We starting our own herd from a cow(stella)My father in law gave me but using his bull. I would say they are as exciting as chickens and chicks but I am not as involved with the cows as my husband is. As much as I want other animals on our farm chickens are still my #1

Oh dear! My partridge Silkie pullet has gone broody ALREADY!!! I was hoping she would wait another month so she could be part of the Hatch-along!

If you got them from The Sheriff, she ships express. So as long as the Post Office doesn't screw up, you should have them in a day.

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Wednesday! Im reading a little and enjoying some fresh brewed coffee while the littles are getting ready for school. Crazy as it sounds or not sounds lol I woke up thinking about chickens
