I can tell you how many eggs there are in the bator at any time but tuesday was the first time in a year that I knew exactly how many live birds I have.

Thats crazy, me too.
What is that? I can't tell if it's a control issue, or a god complex, or what. It's crazy. We NEED our hatch fix. Lol

I saw a Dennys commercial yesterday with bacon and eggs and my first thought was "you fools, what a waste of an egg! I could hatch that!!!!"

There is something about hatching that I think is really addicting. Seriously, once the chick's are all safe and sound it's like OK, boring. More eggs now, MORE EGGS!!!

What a wonderfully large incubator.
You must have an amazing brooder setup. I'm on the lookout for a better brooder set up. If you are willing, I would like to see pictures or hear of how you brood so many chicks.

i have 15 brooders in two towers

The first has 5 levels with the top 4 being nd halved erquipped with lights - we only need 30 watts in each.

The lowest "floor" has a single enclosure as well as a second 5 level brooder.

They are on casters (wheels) for easy cleaning with doors on the front and rear of the lighted brooders to make it easy to access bulb,

Well...I guess I've got to dust off the old incubator (it has been dormant for 2 years now) Honestly I don't know how I lasted that long without setting a batch
So count me IN for this years Easter hatch-a-long!

we just repaied an extra hatch-a-bator for the hatch scheduled for tuesday

First, my family is already scars of the damage I do with my cooler bater, but I would love to have one like that! Did you build that?! If you double stack, an I right that you can hold up to 1,152 eggs?!!!
