Where exactly do you get Emu eggs and (if you don't mind me asking) how much are they? Also, do you have any idea if you are allowed to raise Emus in Minnesota?

There are breeders just like there are for poultry etc. Price varies just like anything. From just doing a quick peek it appears that Minnesota considers them livestock. You will want to check for yourself on that though.

Not the best photo but this thing is amazing! I can't wait to get some eggs in it!
I love the fact you can see everything...like a big screen for hatching. Pull up a recliner, have some pop corn and a soda and watch the action. Sure beats bending over my foam bator...lol eventually I'll look like Igor....

Did you make that? If so would you PM me the directions. Those are amazing
yes i made that from scratch....you can follow step by step with plenty of details and pics...

hope to see you post...theres tons of people from all over the world posting in there...if you have any more questions just pm me and we can go from there...

Does yours have a digital programmer for the heat? If so can you direct me where to find those and are they easy to install?
you can buy ones that have heat and ac and humidity....if you need help finding it please pm me...as you can get ac 110 units/ ac 220 units/ and also dc units...so you have to be aware of which you buy cause the install will be different in each unit..

Still missing my window, heat source and fan. My first homemade cooler bator either way though

I have almost talked my husband into getting a incubator and doing hatching that way instead of waiting on a bloody. Does anyone have any advice on starter incubaters. I like how easy it is with broodys but I really want chicks now.lol

The best incubator for the price is the GQF Genesis Hova-Bator 1588 it is around $150 but has the best reviews.
On the cheaper side, TSC sells one for around $40 but it is a still air incubator. Regardless of its 50/50 reviews, I have had nothing but success with it as they made it better in the last year or so.
