Help Needed!!!!

Anyone has experience with Brinsea Humidity pump? @ronott1 or anyone else. Need help, I set up the pump per instructions with an Octagon 40 and cranked up the humidity to test if the pump works. The pump did turn on and its been on for 30 minutes now but I don't see any vapors or water going in through the tube. Could it be just an air block or something else?

If its airlock how do I fix it? I tried to call Brinsea but they are closed right now and I have a feeling they will be closed over the weekend as well.

I picked up my eggs from bamadude today! I already set them, but I won't know how many eggs I'll have until I set quail next week.

Go eggs...It was very nice to meet u and your family. Super cool folks. Good luck

It was awesome meeting y'all! When we got home I showed the EEs to my mom, dad asked where the RIR eggs were. In the other carton, still in the bag. :p

Ok so I checked to see if I could fit more eggs in my bator than 4 dozen well I had a half a dozen OEGB eggs and most of my eggs are smaller than normal sized eggs so I still had a bout a quarter of my bator left so now I just need that pix of the set all the eggs and the OVERLOAD the bator one

I let my shipped eggs sit for 48 hrs. and the air bubble is still moving like a level when I tilt the egg. I just went ahead and put them in the incubator since they are getting older by the hour. Did I do wrong? The only one with a 'stuck' air sac has it on the side of the egg. I marked that one.

Honestly, I used to just let mine sit for 24 hours, then pop them in without candling. They always did fine. (For shipped eggs, where I assume I will have a few quitters and assists) I'm a bit more obsessive now with the higher end eggs, but I'll still set them even with a little wiggle. They usually have firmed up by the first candle date.

First, make sure the pump is higher than the incubator to make gravity work for you. Second, with the pump running, pinch the piece of tubing that leads to the incubator close to the pump with fingers on both hands. Keeping your fingers pinched on each end, run your fingers closest to the incubator toward the incubator to create a vaccum in the line (it should stay flat) all the way to the stiff tube that goes into the incubator. Release the pinch nearest the pump. Keep holding the pinch near the incubator until the tubing fills with water and rounds out. Repeat if necessary. Good luck!
