Hi, Brinsea's auto-turner doesn't roll the eggs, it just tilts eggs slowly until they get to a 45 degree angle (over a period of 30 minutes) and then tilts them back straight and then in 45 degrees opposite direction. My personal opinion for that is to take the turner out, or even just a rail or 2 if possible to make room for the shipped eggs to sit off to the side. Keep the shipped eggs in an egg carton so they are upright large end up and do not move them. Then you can either let the other rails in the turner keep turning the non shipped eggs or if you remove the turner just lay them on there sides and hand turn, or put them in cartons also and tilt them back and forth 3 times a day.
I hope that made sense.
But I am just wondering if not turning the egg is not harmful for the eggs with bad air-sacs? why is it harmful for eggs with good air-sacs? Or is it that we are picking lesser of the two evils?
