You will understand, only if you are around my age..see if you can read it without singing it.. :D

Quote: So I'm doing things in the opposite order that you took. But I'm stuck. I have the wine cooler. But I'm a bit unsure of what I should order for parts. And I really am unsure of where to even start now. I know I don't want to rely on a light bulb for heat so I'm leaning towards the incubator warehouse XL kit. But I also think I would need a fan to run all of the time. Then a humidity setup for the hatching days. I plan to use mine only for hatching so the humidity setup is key but I'm not sure I want to pay for a fogger pump or just a 5 gallon bucket.
I have read a couple of the "make your own incubator from a wine cooler" postings in the learning section but I'm just not getting it. It is really making me understand how a few English majors felt when they took a college calculus class on a dare.

Do you have any recommendations for what to do first?

Good news or bad news? Good news is I got my Brinsea spot check today. Bad news is I have been incubating for about 2 years with thermometers calibrated in ice water and still are off by 1 to 2 degrees at any given moment

This is what you do when you get 25+ eggs a day and cannot even give them away fast enough. Make two gallons of pickled eggs = 8 dozen gone.

If you have peeled 8 dozen eggs at once, you must have a good method. What is your way of peeling large amounts of fresh eggs. Egg salad, hard cooked eggs for breakfast, and of course deviled or stuffed eggs are all big hits here but peeling eggs is not ayone's favorite thing to do, not even the children want to help peel the eggs.
