An adorable little Delaware! Still only two other pips, but I'm a little more hopeful now. I'm praying I get more chickies!

Wow - that is an amazing hatch from shipping eggs!

My cat is currently stalking the brooder that has two fluffy, adorable chicks in there. They have pecked at food and found the ecoglow. In the incubator, another chick (one of the potential olive eggers) is drying out. The soccer damage/pip egg appears to be zipping, another olive egger egg is pipped with a lot of activity, and another one is pipped. Only one egg left with no activity!! Hopefully, I can suss out whatever I didn't do wrong this time for future hatches!

I wish I knew what these were!

I know that the silver (?) and the chipmunk in the middle are from my own eggs, making them half speckled sussex. The silver is from a lavender/splash orpington maybe? No idea on the chippy.

The others could be EE, OE, or SS mixes. There's absolutely no way for me to know, and that's really stressful for us Type-A folks.

I have seven of my silkies hatch out today...one I had to assist it was stuck and started to dry out (get shrink wrapped) I don't know if it will make it but Imma keep my fingers crossed...found 4 dead they didn't make it out ;( I still have 2 more eggs to go keeping a close eye on them
