Hatch is going okay so far. I ran into a couple issues that I though you guys might be able to help me with.
I have 6 chicks that hatched out perfectly fine, no issues during zip or anything. However I have atleast 4 (possibly more) that piped and then died in their shell. That is the most I have ever had. I have had one before, but usually I don't get any. What could be the cause of this? Humidity is around 65%-70% temp is between 99-100. Could it possibly be bad genes from the breeder that could cause this? Possibly low temperature during incubation itself?
Anyone else have any ideas?
20/25 chicks have hatched! I still have 5 in the incubator. 4 don't even have a pip and 1 looks like it quit after unzipping a third of the way. It's not moving and I don't hear any chirping and its been a while
I've had 8 out of 13 hatch so far and I think that's all I'm going to get. I will post pics a little. I don't think thats to bad for not being able to candle. Congrats to all you new mommies and daddy's out there. Here they are, 8 out of 13 I think that will be all I have.
