Do you live in Georgia? Noahs Ark Animal Sanctuary in Locust Grove received HUNDREDS of chicks from the US Postal office...they were stacked in boxes higher than a man and several hundred died...someone had shipped thousands of chicks some dyed Easter colors and the recipient never picked them up.

These poor baby's will be available for adoption in lots of 10 for local pickup only..

If you live in Georgia or know someone who does please help these babies...share this story everywhere so they can find good homes!

Oh! That's terrible Poor little babies. I'm glad the shelter has them now.

Now that the Easter hatch is all done and over with, I have some eggs due to hatch in a few days here. I'm so nervous! I candled them yesterday and couldn't really tell what was going on. We'll see, I guess.

lol..I know what you mean, when I put mine out, it's always fun to watch them at first. The bin they are in at first is not see thrugh..poor babies can't see anywhere but up when I hover over them, so when they go outside, they just stand there, frozen for a few mins. Then, they slowly start walking around, then, before I know it, they are flapping wings and flying across that Nursery. They love it.
