So I have a question for everyone... I have a chick that's about a week old and is consistently chirping, and I don't see him eating or drinking at all.. I've tried bringing him to the water and dipping his beak and still he doesn't drink, same with the food.. He just stands in one stop with his eyes closed chirping while all the other chicks are very lively and trample him over at times... What should I do?
You broke the only rule of "The Man Cave" what happends in the man cave stays in the man caveI calibrated my dang thermometer and moved the incubator to my husband's man cave. Worked great!

Is it cold in your garage? My Brinsea Exoglow is warm enough without a heat lamp.Just sharing some pics of my brooder. After I was able to cut the number of chicks down to 10 from 47, I transferred them to this brooder in the garage at six days old. The brooder is inspired by one of the brooders on last years Easter HAL. Since its sitting on a desk and I have plexiglass front, I can have a nice view while relaxing in a chair. The plexiglass slides out for easy cleaning. I use several pieces of wood on top to regulate the desired temperature for the day. The light/heat bulb is sitting on hardware cloth so no risk of falling inside.![]()
