My dad always told me about his spaniel when he was a kid. He hunted in Mlnnasoda . in the winter he said he'd go out in the snow and call his dog in the morning. A mound of snow would start moving and the dog would be there. hed shake off the snow and be ready to go hunt. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw your avatar .. my dad has been gone for many years. Pleasant thoughts....

Wow! That is beautiful!

My Mom takes pictures like that. Its always so cool you don't want to go out and mess up the snow with all your boot prints. Right now, however, its spring weather and there is no snow. It was raining last night actually.

She's wonderful! No, I have stuck with large fowl, although, I am thinking maybe I need to expand to some different faverolles varieties, and who says I can't do bantam as well

I have to say, my sweetest rooster was a birchen bantam cochin... but I have never had a mean or aggressive faverolles. They just stare at me and then just continue manning the flock.
Here are a couple more roosters pictures from my current breeders.

Same with our rooster. He isn't aggressive, but he glares when he's frustrated. Its so funny because if he has some string caught on his foot or something and you pick him up to take it off he always gets embarrassed that his ladies won't think he's cool anymore.
