Our TSC is a minimum of 6 but turns out our local feed store Morrison's (an Agway) only has a minimum of 3. They have to be from the same ship date though.

Also TSC special orders chicks but minimum order of 25 :/ AND they ship to your post office. If I was gonna do that I may as well just order them from a hatchery myself hahaha

My dad says no more than 8 but there are other breeds that I want and I want ducks so we will see... :p

Sorry to hear that.

Oh no! I know it's not funny...(ok...it's a just a little bit funny)

Frustrating for sure!!

But I think that's just wild your feed stores get chicks in just have chicks there. Loose. Waiting for people to buy them. I've never seen anything like that here. At all. Closest thing to that was when our local co-op used to get a group of chicks in for their big specials week in March. But you couldn't buy them...it was a raffle. Yep...no chicks here at all.

You can still set your eggs +/- 2 days and have the numbers count if that could work for you. Just to let you know.

Thanks, won't be back until at least the 8th depends on when the specialists get in and how he's doing after surgery, hoping they don't decide he needs chemo.

But as soon as I do get back will be setting them

Insomnia.....
Does anyone have this? Review? Or point me in another direction? I'm sick of big brooder lights.
I don't, I just use a small clamp on thingymajig with a 60 watt bulb in my brooder, that is plenty for the few I'm hatching at a time, guess if your doing a bigger brooder you could use more than one

Thanks for responding! I guess I should have said I'm looking for something similar to what I posted (what is that called? Lol) but not as costly as the Brinsea one would be fantastic.
