Gonna try some pekin ducks and maran/brahma mix eggs. If the ducks keep laying that is

Is it just me... or does anyone else really REALLY want to redo that picture with the correct number of days crossed out!??
The last hash is likely in one of the blind spots...or the chick was too excited about getting out that it forgot to mark the last day!

End of day 19... I hear an angelic sound!! A small squeak from the incubator. No pips yet but I hear a noise!!! Come on 30 eggs... Let's hatch.

C'mon babies!

Whew ! Finally caught up ! Been out since Sunday. Ended up in the hospital Sunday night with appendicitis, yuck. Felt terrible. They took it out and repaired my herniated navel and let me come home last night. My belly button hurts like crazy, especially when i cough (smoker here). BUT i'm home, on the mend, and back on BYC trying to win a sign. But don't tell LocalYokel. I bet he thinks i gave up.

Wow, get some rest! Hope you feel better soon.

Test batch due 25th
Love looking at quail eggs.

@generaldsherman
How was your recovery after your gallbladder surgery if I may ask? Did you have any lasting problems? My mom has had many stomach problems since then.
Not generaldhsherman, but 2 of my family members have had their gall bladder out. My MIL is completely fine. My mom, whose gall bladder was 0% functioning when it was removed, has to be careful with really fatty meats. (mostly pork, especially bacon) The longer post surgery, the better it has gotten for both of them. It takes time for your body to adjust to not having it anymore.
