Right now they're all just mixed but there's ameraucanas, cream legbars, Rhodebars, RSL, Marans, and some mutts. Right now I'm only hatching chicks by request since I don't have breeding pens built yet. The turkeys will be mostly Bourbon buffs and red bronze![]()
Loving the colors especially the Ameracaunas and the cream legbars. I do ever so hope I get some more blue egg layers this year. The marans eggs are also stunning I don't have a chocolate egger either... And this is how chicken math happens. Okay everyone needs to contact my DH2B and explain to him why I shouldn't be limited to only 40 birds by this fall BC I'm in trouble... And I love it!

We have only had fish for 4 months now and we enjoy it. We set up a beautiful 45gallon tank in my DDs room and the fish were doing great, but one day the filter stopped working and since we have other spare tanks we have collect we decided to set up a smaller 10 gallon in the living room instead of buying a new filter for the large tank. I do wish we had the 45gallon in the livingroom, but it is DDssince she did her work and found all her fish items for free. Shes thinking of using it for a snake, though she may take the spare 20gallon for a snake and give me the 45gallon for fishlol.
I'm not sure about snakes but I know small rodents and stuff its very detrimental to go from fish to rodent or rodent to fish it often kills them. I believe it may be the same for snakes but I'm not positive. Have your daughter do her research regarding that I would hate for her to lose a pet. Also it is much easier to maintain water quality in a larger tank than in a small one.
