Roses my favorite. you got so many beautiful colors too. love the orange red one in front.
My son and daughter in law got me Red ones. We had a great get together with friends and family. And a great T-bone steak dinner grilled to perfection.

OH we didn't talk chickens at all They think I am crazy too. LOL

I've gone and done it. I may be in trouble.

I have been watching some Ebay auctions to get an idea of how much I needed to be able to win one. In particular some Niederheiners. I watched one for 10+ eggs go in two minutes from $54 to $102.

Ah, what hope had I? The next one had 17+ eggs with 6 at least Niederheiners plus Isbars and Marans. It also shot up wildly at the last minutes. The next one was by the same farm had another 17+ eggs only with 7 Twenste garanteed, the others were Orust and Niederheiners. It stayed at $49 right up to the last 2 minutes. I twitched. I might never get this chance again on my tight budget. I pounced. They returned and i raised once more at 3 seconds annnd GOT IT! If it was one of yall I was bidding against well I would like to say sorry,,,,, sort of.....maybe.....

But I may have to start them early because they will deliver on the 22nd. I am beyond thrilled.

Did you ever take Natural Childbirth classes? I find their breathing techniques still useful.

I sure know where you are coming from.   I have the same feeling about my horses, dogs and my chickens.  I am a lot older than you , myself I am not happy without my critters.  Right or wrong that's just how it is.  I am sure you could fine someone with the same interest.
I've choose to be with the animals  It i a personal choice....

Exactly how I feel about my animals. I also have four dogs and told her I'm getting three goats this spring. Been building there enclosure lol. Chickens just interest me so much. Plus I love going in my yard and seeing the flock. Its very therapeutic for me instead of drinking or something to relax I go out with the chickens.

In other news it's 2:30am here my German Shepard just woke me up to check the noise coming from the bator. And we have three pips. So back to sleep let the little guys do there thing.

Ya just woke up 6 pips now my Shepard started barking again lol. No chicks yet but it's gonna be a great hatching day hopefully!!!
