Where did you get this, I so want one!!!

Anyone familiar with this please chime in, Lady has a Hovabator Genisis 1588 w/egg turner, 3 yrs old. asking $100. Is this a good deal for it being 3 yrs old ?
jyst got a used 1583 myself. I paid about 40 for the incubator, 10 for a new plastic bottom, and 50 for the new Turner. Sounds like about 100 to me

Here are some photos of my babies. All three were assisted hatching. Two of them were positioned wrong in the shell, the last I was afraid was shrink-wrapped.

You can see how the neck is still bent in the position of the egg-shell. this is more commonly seen in chicks that were not forced to strain to open their own shell (in other words, assisted hatchers). By the way, this little guy is Agent 13.

In this photo you can see little Coulsen, my silkie mix, has a foot right where his beak was suppose to be. He was upside down in his shell.

It took them a little while, but they fluffed out and began to pull their feet under them and lift their heads. Man, newly hatched chicks shed like crazy! I was covered in chick hair by the end of it.

Canary. Again, you can see where this is a foot instead of a beak at the airsac of the egg. She is still in her membrane, I simply remove the shell and the outer membrane (the opaque part).

Here she is just moments after I pulled her head from the shell. You can see she has the same arch in her neck as well. Her eyes are also shut, as sign of a "premie" baby. The shell is still attached at the umbilicus so I'm letting her rest under my shirt and finish absorbing that before I remove her the rest of the way. I often remove the head as soon as I can since this assure me that they can get adequate breath and begin strengthening their neck muscles.

There were some Salmon Favorelles and Welsummers in the BST section that could ship out quick. I PMd him the other day just in case I didn't find anything else.
