Does anyone know where to get a fan for an incubator? Without having to order one online and wait? I already looked up Tractor Supply inventory and didn't see one sold separate...I'd just feel better about the bator from the attic if it at least had a fan
Go to your local computer hardware/computer repair store and see if they'll sell you a USB powered computer fan. They're small and compact, but high powered. You can then get a cheap adapter (if not from the same people, try places like Walmart or Five Below) so you can plug it into a normal outlet. That's exactly what I use in my still air incubator and it's perfect. I got the fan for cheap on Amazon, as well as a USB to outlet adapter, but you can find them locally if you poke around. Here is exactly what I use so you have an idea:

Fan: http://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-M...457277035&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=usb+fan&psc=1
Adapter: http://www.amazon.com/Omni-Universa...1457277104&sr=8-7&keywords=usb+outlet+adapter

I just set 28 eggs:
13 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, 13 Russian Orloff and 2 EE/Orloff mixes.
400

I'm in-kind of by accident! My broody is in the mood again, so I gave her four eggs yesterday without realizing it was the set date for the hatch along! She has barnyard mix eggs, white leghorn, EE, and red sex link. Roos are a splash cochin or a barred rock.
