I set 10 goose eggs and 30chicken eggs.

Just candled. Day 10... 6/7 seramas, the one egg that isn't good has a detached air cell so there was no hope. I think that pretty good so far for shipped eggs...

So somehow I was seeing stuff because I candled tonight the possible twins tonight and I didn't see twins in the large serama egg. Then again I could be missing them... this egg confuses me... lol

I was not going to candle my eggs tonight but my curiosity got the best of me. SO GLAD I DID! One of the turkey eggs was seeping BADLY and starting to smell. I got that sink bomb out, Pronto! The rest all look good I'm just so glad I got that out before it exploded all through my cabinet!

It's 2am and my chicken coop is in smolderes. Fire killed 16 3 week olds. I'm depressed now. NEVER PUT A HEATLAMP , even 1 with emergency shut off, in a coop.

I set 12 and I am down to 8 already (4 were not fertile) but I have one roo taking care of 19 hens so it was bound to happen.

3/4 BBS Orpington eggs that were developing from the 18 i received have hatched and the last one is in the process ! woo hoo !

I just realized I will have eggs hatching that day and I didn't even try it. I set 8 buckeye eggs.
