Ok, so I have another Humidity question for the experienced hatchers on here.

Phase 1 of my staggered hatch in the Brinsea Ova-Easy is over. I took out the hatching tray, did a quick wipe down of the bottom shelf and dropped the humidity slowly back to 30% last night. My question is - Should I set the humidity even LOWER, say 25% for the 4 days before the next hatch starts, to counteract the 2 1/2 days that I had the humidity up to 60% or a little over?

No, Keep it at 30%--The time at the higher humidity will not hurt them.

Day 14 candle update.

After the poor showing at day 7 candle I cleared out 17/24 clear eggs at day 10. I left a questionable in along with the 6 confirmed developers and I'm pleased to report its developing nicely :yiipchick
So I have 7 looking good although the air cell's are a little small so I have turned the humidity down to get them a bit bigger.
they make it to lockdown!

Anyone gone into lockdown on day 17 instead of 18? I have some eggs due for lockdown tommorrow but got to go out of town for the day. I wouldn't think there would be a problem just never done it.

Salmons are dimorphous ie the male is a totally different color than the female.
You should be able to tell at around 4 weeks,The males will develop dark wings.
