Well I'm keeping my hands off as much as I can due to the flu. It's type A so it can be transmitted to animals. I never knew that until the doctor gave me a pamphlet on it. She was warning me to avoid kids and my pets as much as I could

.

I candles on day 12 so I'm good. Will candle again in day 18 and lockdown. God willing I'm feeling a little better by then.

Anyone gone into lockdown on day 17 instead of 18? I have some eggs due for lockdown tommorrow but got to go out of town for the day. I wouldn't think there would be a problem just never done it.

I had to on my last hatch for same reasons and it turned out fine.

I picked up a buff Silkie chick at the feed store yesterday and when my aunt came over to pick up some Easter Egger chicks from me she asked if I was sure that chick (the Silkie) wasn't somehow mixed with a duck. Hahaha
