I'm going to wait till tonight for final count. 13 in temporary brooder, bunch still in bator still probably quitters no pips. Five clears, one early quitter.
13 out of 34 total I started with is what % ?? How do you figure % ?
Not good but ohh well, what it is I think.

Number of eggs hatched, divide by number of eggs set, times 100 = percentage hatched.

You know your brooder coop has gone too long without babies in it, when you have to kill 10+ black widows that took up residence.
(our life was hectic, so broodies have been raising babies for me for the last couple of years)​

Next hatch will be better! Invest a bit and get a sensitive and accurate thermometer
