So my incubator is running, waiting for tomorrow, I have had trouble with the humidity, trying to get it to the ideal 55%, I have gotten it to 56%. Is close enough?

EASTER EGG HATCH ALONG!
This is my first posting, first egg hatching contest, first time incubation of eggs. Lots of firsts here Please enter me in the 8th annual Easter egg hatching contest thingy.

Can I join? I was planning on setting on the 26th, but I think I can do the 25th. I'm planning on setting 8 or 9 eggs. Four mixes( 2 cuckoo maran crossed with a wyandottexRIR rooster, and 2 silver campine crossed with a wyandottexRIR rooster) and 4 or 5 silkie eggs.

I'm in if I can find some bunny eggs. Is anybody's bunny layin' yet? I like those half-light-blue/half-pink eggs with red glitter the best.

Gonna be hatching some Americauna/Buff Orpington hybrids, so maybe I'll participate if I have a broody hen then.

I ran mine between 30 and 45 for the first 24 days (mine were early remember) Ravyn runs here's about 35% is what she told me. If it's a little high don't worry about it, it'll go down. The key thing to remember is, Surface area, the more surface area the higher it's gonna be. Remember not all climates are the same, here in Alabama I can run it lower than what someone in the middle of the desert does, do a few hatches and play around with the humidity and see what works best for you
