TWENTY SEVEN MORE DAYS?!?!?!? I'll never make it! This is gonna take forever!

Might have to play wait and see on this one. Judy Broody is getting ready to hatch a batch today. I can hear the little peeps getting ready to visit themselves upon us. And with these Cochins, I could already have another four or five brooding by then. So we're already in for quite a show--break out the popcorn!!!

But it sounds like fun!

Wow sounds like you may be over run with broodies! Good luck to Judy broody today :fl

:sick I am so grossed out right now. I pulled out my bators for a quick check and clean on my older one to set some eggs I've been collecting and both incubators had a dead mouse in them. Like long dead. Someone please tell me I can save them. I don't want to throw my incubators away. I sprayed them out outside, but I'm not sure I can clean them well enough to be safe for hatching. One of them died on bare Styrofoam and the other on the water tray.

Need some serious advice here!

Oh yuck :sick

I'd use a diluted bleach on them. Rinse well, repeat and rinse well again. Then try and get them in the sun to dry out if you can.

Quote: I was thinking about that since I already use diluted bleach before and after every hatch, but this is a whole new level of yuck. I'm going to have to totally disassemble the lids for cleaning because some creepy crawler laid eggs in them. Ugh, this is so frustrating!

I guess it was better for me to find out now, rather than the day before hatch start. Thank you, Yorkshire!
