The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

I still plan on setting and being part of the Easter Hatchalong. I am hoping to find some Turkey and Duck eggs to hatch. Does anyone on here have a place they would recommend for me to get them from ??? Thanks in advance. If no luck with Turkey/Duck eggs I will set some more of my barnyard mutt chicken eggs. :)
There are some links for egg sources on the first post of this thread.

We've been testing fertility of our birds and it looks like we'll be joining the Easter HAL! It's been a wild winter here and we're ready for spring!
Not yet sure what we'll be incubating. We have some nice Jubilee Orpingtons, Lavender Orpingtons, BLRW, CCLB, BCM, and various EEs, OEs, Silkies, Ameraucana, and more. How will I choose?

Where is Ron's Set all the eggs?

Joining the Hatch a Long again this year. Putting in my order for hatching eggs with my "egg-ceptional" egg lady today.

Going to be setting Cream Legbars, Langshans, Ameriflowers, English Orphingtons and olive eggers.

My husband said he will be picking it out, yeah, I WILL be the one to use it but he wants to pick it out.

(Gotta LOVE that man! He puts up with my animals.)

THANKS for the warm WELCOME!
Gotta love husbands like that. Got one myself. He fell in love with my runner ducks; he thinks they're hilarious running around the barnyard. Likes them so much he wanted to keep all 10 of the ducklings I just hatched out to sell. (told him no, we'd get some more for ourselves from elsewhere to expand the flock)

So many of the same people in the hatch a long. A big hello from my house to yours.
Thought I'd give you a big laugh. I am being real good and only using my Brinsea 24 egg bator. I get a call from my daughter ( who thinks I am crazy) Mom I have eggs I want to hatch !!!!!!!!LOL Can I bring them over?
So I'll hold her off until the hatch a long and hatch hers too. She has a cochin bantam rooster. So they ar crosses but she loves them.....
I thought it was so funny
The Dickie may have to get fired up. Than I am in trouble. olive eggers, marans , rhode island red, crested cream legbars, icebars, salmon favoroles cochin bantams. See what she started. NO will power!!!!!
I don't think they have been separated long enough to be pure.
Happy Hatching to everyone. Sue

Things are looking good for four of my test eggs. I doubt the other two are fertile, but I'm giving them a few more days. There's some crazy veining going on in the four that look good. My current guess is that I'll be lucky to get even one chick since the eggs were either more than a month old at set or from hens that are older. At this point, I can happily say my temps are spot on what they need to be.

Im doing a test hatch before the HAL right now . And so far the easter eggers that have started to pip are all pipping on the small end of the egg. Could this be a genetic disorder. So far its just 2 out of 14 eggs.

I don't mind it when it comes to the chickens BUT when it involves the PUPPIES, I have to say that we can NOT keep them ALL.
(We have a litter of 7 Caucasian Ovcharka that will be 6 weeks old on Saturday.)

This was a week or so ago. They're about 12 pounds each right now, except for the runt girl, she's about 5 1/2 pounds.
