Trying to gather info On why this chick keeps rolling on its back. The other chicks were pecking it and sitting on it. Its pretty lethargic right now. We placed it in a cup in the incubator hoping it will perk up and to keep from getting more beat up. Ive just never seen this. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Usually it is from Spraddle leg.

Flipping over like that usually indicates a deficiency. Try poly vi sol drops without iron.
the Dickie bator holds 324 chicken eggs. I swore I'd keep the numbers down this year. I hatch from Febuary until November last year.
It will probably get fired up but have to keep the numbers down.....I safe this time just now putting pens of the pure breds back together.
