I have a buff orp/white chantecler that'll be heading off to the freezer soon. He just showed me he was a rooster today when he bred Jazzy and she turned around and kicked his butt. He's been such a slow grower I'm not sure he's worth it. Brick grew faster than he has and he hasn't put on much weight.

I would have thought the crossbreeding would have caused them to grow a little faster, odd. Good to know though

I just found another breed I want. The Deathlayer chicken! Pretty, with a pretty metal sounding name! Lol I can imagine leather studded jacket and little mini chains... Hahaha
