I'm in Virginia, but I am shipping eggs, so that's fine. I love the Partridge Rocks, and the Speckled Sussex especially! Due to less than ideal pen setup, I can really only ship one or two breeds at a time. If you want prices, I'll message them to you.

Oh yeah, I see that now that I'm on my computer, sorry, I was on mobile before (usually am) and so couldn't see the location. That's true that it doesn't really matter although it does make me feel a little better that you're at least somewhat close to me and not way across the country or something haha

That's good to hear about them cause I was hoping they were good breeds Do you think the partridges are similar to the other Rocks or different?

And that's fine! I already have buff orps and australorps anyway (though I could always use more haha). Do you think you could do the rocks and sussex?

Not for me. I don't want shipped eggs. Looking at ducklings on the other hand...

(Boy, I wish I could find some welsh harlequin ducklings)

The H..ducklings...my favorite. Had to hatch some just for fun once upon a time. I like them because the females are pretty too..have some color in them too..that blue!

Pretty excited. There is a poultry show and swap this weekend at our fairgrounds. Hoping to get some hatching eggs to use in the hatch along.

The first chick is out!!!!!!!!

But it appears to have some leg issues...... Not spraddle leg or curled toes, almost like a double jointed leg. I'll wait until it dries and rests before I make any decisions.

I don't know why this is sideways, and I don't care! WE HAVE A BABY!

Thank you! I think he or she may have curled toes, but I won't know til it's out of the bator. We are not quite fluffed yet. I have low hopes for the other egg hatching as we don't even have a pip yet, but I'll keep it in the bator for a day or two. I made arrangements to pick up another chick tomorrow so my new little baby isn't all alone in the brooder.

Don't count the other egg out yet.

I have a Popcorn! A little white hen. She was hatched under a broody and learned how to roost way up on the tippy top roost with her mama when she was still very young.

CONGRATS to everyone having chicks hatch! That's great! Glad your baby finally made it out, @AmandaKyle and that your baby is OK, @frenchiegirl21 and congrats on the adorable pigeon baby, @Lozuufy !!! It's getting hard to keep up with this thread already, lol!!

Did anyone check out my possible sex linked EEs a couple pages back? I'd really like another opinion about whether they could be sex linked or not! Isn't hatching just the best? I can't wait for my new babies to hatch and they're still only on Day 2!!! And then we've got the HAL hatch, whoo!! So many babies!!!

It's hard to tell. I'm thinking just different patterns. I guess we will have to wait and see.
