The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

:fl
I'm actually candleing tonight for some shipped eggs from Florida. Nervous

Mine came from Orlando, way up here to altitude, we are above Denver. Mine shipped on a weekend that was like summer, in the 70°s but the morning they arrived the temps dropped to 21°. Mine were doomed from the start, they froze, none ever developed. I can't believe the seller was so kind to reship and only charge me shipping cost. If I ever order shipped eggs again, I think it would be from a state closer to mine, so they don't have to fly. I hope yours get to you safe and sound and in 3 weeks, you have sweet chicks all around.:)

I got the 20 advanced thinking it was going to be enough. And then Chicken math caught up to me.

Yep, sounds like how I started. I ordered a 27 egg incubator, thinking that it was alllll I'd ever need.....now I want a cabinet...:gig

The new models are the Min II, Maxi II, Ovation 28 and ovation 56. I started a thread for them and they are hatching very well. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1138583/brinsea-improved-and-expanded-mini-and-ovation-incubators
The new Brinsea ovation 56 holds 56 chicken eggs!

Thanks for the link, checking it out.

Well, I did know I wanted an IncuView, and they only had one size bator, I think, so I didn't really have a choice if I wanted an Incuview. Now I've got a 41 egg incubator as well. My eye is on one on eBay.....
